What did you do after LeJog?
Did anyone else suffered from LeJog withdrawals after completing. I recently made a blog about my post ride blues....

Do it again, but both ways.
Then do it again on a Raleigh Chopper.
Next time?

How long did it take you on the chopper? Have you got a write up of that trip anywhere?

The trip was excellent and I enjoyed the Chopper. I sold it afterwards and I've regretted it since. It was a beast to ride, but strangely enjoyable and everywhere I went, folk would stop and chat.

The blog is finished of course, but they always read backwards, so I'm in the process of re-arranging it the correct way round so it reads as a complete thing. I've not been back to this task for a while, but I will continue with it as and when the fancy takes me.

I did Dover to Cape Wrath next, followed by a trip to Spain and cycling round Ireland from Rosslare to Belfast the long way round including end to end (Mizen Head to Malin Head)
I feel sure that the genius that did this, didn't even feel a thud as he drove by.
Re: What did you do after LeJog?
I rode from St Malo to the Mediterranean sea..ie..France from north to south..Then after that Trans America..
Re: What did you do after LeJog?
Why keep doing the same thing over and over again? Once you've done it, it's done - move on to something else.
After doing JOGLE, I went riding in the French Alps, tackling the Galibier and Alpe D'Huez, then went cycle-touring in Cuba.

Never done LeJog, but know well the feeling after a long'un - chum calls it the "back to the cowshed" feeling. Only cure I know is to plan the next one.
Have we got time for another cuppa?

My feelings exactly, LEJOG proved to be the primer for longer tours in foreign lands.

You waited until you'd finished before you went to the pub? We were in the pub every night whilst JOGLEing. Essential to replace those lost fluids! JOGLE was very much a tour of the nation's micro-breweries for me.

Re: What did you do after LeJog?
Rode LEJOG in 2012. I did nothing the year after due to a certain Big C intervening in my life. Saw him off eventually (Never challenging but certain to win if challenged, Grasshopper) and did Dover to Cape Wrath this year. Awesome ride and harder than the LEJOG route we did in 2012 IMHO.
Giving serious thought to a French end to end next year, Caen to Nice but still have a date with a double Coast to Coast involving the Hadrian Cycle route and Walney to Wear.
