Just thought I'd update you all on this to say I've now ordered my Disc Trucker in a 54cm frame.
I was able to find a really good LBS not too far away (Keep Pedalling in Manchester) who let me take both sizes for a spin. I ordered the complete bike from them.
The 56 would have been ok but stand over height was non existent. That really made me feel like the bike was too big and awkward - even though I know SO height is not so important with a touring bike.
The 54 fit fine. With refined saddle height and bar height I'm sure it will be exactly what I'm looking for.
It's an awesome bike by the way, not half as heavy as I'd been led to believe, and the 26" rims are really a joy.
Can't wait to get my hands on it!

brucelee wrote:Hi, I'm 6"2', inside leg 89.5cm which gives my an ideal frame size of 23.6"(60cm) - according to the interweb. So I bought a 60cm LHT. Everybody around me told me I needed a larger frame of the order of 24-25.5". Think they were right - look at the size of the stem. Also look at the size of the stem in the photo in the previous post. Your right to have a good think about this.
looks ok to me - it rides ok? u could use a shorter less angled stem easy?
