I've walked the Cuillin Ridge and parts of it terrified me.

Was it the Cullin, or another of Scotland's infamous ridges, that Steve Thomas did on his MTB years ago - when he was told by the mountain guide that he must use a safety line for H&S reasons he just purchased a washing line and tied it around his middle.

Watched that video in what I can only describe as horrified fascination. At one point I was feeling queasy, at another had to shut my eyes. I was up there earlier this year on foot and wussed out of going on to the summit of my intended climb once I got to the top of the ridge. Admittedly there was a bit of snow then, but still.
I won't need any more coffee this morning.
