Ghost Bikes of Ulster.

We are in Ulster for the weekend. Extreme Granny sitting and Tweenager monitoring. My sister and her husband have gone to Edinburgh. . .
At junctions in Belfast and many other places we have seen bikes sprayed matt white, sometimes with flowers attached.
A cyclist's death is marked by these "Ghost Bikes".
A chilling reminder of a life lost.
In Bangor there is a youngsters BMX Ghost Bike at a junction in the main street.
To me and my lady the Ghost Bikes are a more poignant reminder of our need to take care than any poster campaign.
Has this ever been done in the U.K. ??
