Beautiful pictures -- I take it that's Wennington Lancashire ?

Edit -- sorry yes it is -- we'll be over there this summer doing the Lancaster canal but have a few days to visit other places -- the bridge house farm tea rooms look lovely. I see pictures of motorbikes at it when I Googled it -- is it a venue for that sort of event ?

Thanks Simeon I'll look that up. The Way of the roses looks a great way to do a coast to coast.

I seen Simeon hasn't posted anything since January 2024 and his blog hasn't been updated in the same time. Does anyone know if he's still leading these RSF rides?

Unfortunately I am recovering from Cancer and last time I was out on bike was late August 2024. I have had Picc line in my arm for most this year which is coming out soon after last cycle of chemo. Also woke up from seven hour operation over Christmas period be coming an owner of stuma bag, I don't think stuma bag and cycling will mix that well due to seal around the bag but my days of long cycle rides may be over but I have been taking alot of macro photos of plants growing in my back garden and doing up my back garden between the cycles of chemo.

I'm really sorry to hear this. I can only wish you a good recovery and even if the cycling is over, there is still the photography.
