Stroke
Re: Stroke
Thanks, just need to get a new hybrid or cyclo cross, so that I can avoid the roads as much as possible.

Re: Stroke
I have restricted neck movement: why not try a mirror? Mirrcycle? 5*
Re: Stroke
Was thinking about that, saw a couple of people with helmet mirrors, might look for one of those.
Re: Stroke
After all the worrying about mirrors etc,. I ended up falling over trying to get of the bike in Lidl car park. Lol

Re: Stroke
I've always had problems looking over my shoulder, mainly because I wear glasses, since I have to turn further to see. This was made worse when I started wearing varifocals about 10 years ago. In fact to get a good view through the central zone of my specs I have to turn almost completely round. My solution to this is a mirror on my handlebars.
I have one of this type on my hybrid (flat-bars) and also on a racer (drops) - http://www.amazon.com/CatEye-Road-Bicycle-Mirror-BM-300G/dp/B000P1Q170/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1442500717&sr=8-10&keywords=bicycle+mirrors
And one of these on my tourer (drops) - http://www.amazon.com/Blackburn-2041496-Road-Mirror/dp/B009IIJV3W/ref=sr_1_44?ie=UTF8&qid=1442500841&sr=8-44&keywords=bicycle+mirrors
The latter is not mounted on the hoods but upside-down beneath the brake lever, held on the bars with a few cable ties. This is my preferred one due to it's shape and more robust construction.

Re: Stroke
Thanks tykeboy, I went out to Evans in Edinburgh, and the guy I spoke to was really helpful, due to problems with my left side, we picked out the pinnacle akrose 2, with a single chain ring on the front and 10 gears on the back, so just one changer on the right side. I will have a look at those mirrors and have already decided it will be a definite purchase, so thanks again for the links.

I like the sound of this - could you post a photo, please?
