I've certainly been saved from middle aged obesity and probably diabetes, both of which are 100% prevalent in our family , with the exception of me. I can only put this down to cycling for near 40 years with only a 3 year break when the kids were very young.

I also enjoy reasonable low blood pressure and low cholesterol, which can only be cycling related as. my diet is not exactly healthy and I enjoy a drink. When I look in the mirror I certainly don't feel my age, the monkey gland implants are I hope a long way off!
