Threaded hole in top tube?

Post by Brian73 »

Recently bought this aluminium frame and noticed it has a threaded hole under the top tube.

Any idea what this is for? I thought about a competition number mount.

Pump peg?
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Oh well, something else I won't be using

It's a Kinesis frame badged as IDEAL, not a brand we see in the UK.
