Thanks for your response Mick, I knew I could rely on you.

That's the bit that's worrying me though!

Mick when are you going to set up a trailer blog , to capture all this stuff? It'll save you reposting all your photos all the time, you can put your blog link in your signature and hey presto, an instance reference. Its so easy to do these days with tools like blogger. The hardest bit would be the name but a quick search shows that BikeTrailerMan is free!

What a brill idea!
There's loads (pardon the pun) of stuff on here, I could extract it and shove it all together!
When I've got nothing better to do, I may have a go.

It's build quality probably isn't as good, and it's probably heavier, but it's been great for the weekly shop, tip-runs etc. The single wheel design makes it easier to cycle with, but more difficult when stationary, and limits the weight a bit, but you can still fit two slabd of beer in it without a problem!
I use BoB Yak too and I'm really happy about it. It has some weight, but definitely do the job. Great for short trips.

We have an extra wheel, but one of the older design which had cargo nets either side of the wheel (which is a full size 700c).
FABULOUS - all the weight is carried by the trailer wheel as with the CF (Extra wheel actually reccommend the CF if you want to carry more than 35kg) We don't notice it at all when out riding.
The coupling is ingenious - you are supplied with a QR skewer for the rear wheel which will fit any bike from my solo to the tandem, the spring steel coupling is set slightly narrower than the width of the QR on the bike and holds itself. If there's an emergency it can "snap" off easily, but it does not fall off. Being a full size wheel it rolls easily & doesn't notice bumps much.
Look on their site for the report of the guy who cycled accross the Australian desert with one!
