The answers are in your other thread. But have a look at viewtopic.php?f=5&t=74985 as well.

I've gone over to vaping too.
Probably not good for me but my fitness has gone through the roof since I switched from the rollies to the vape pipe.
Saved me a fortune too. Costs about 50p a day.

Same here, I got it down to about £2.50 a week buying juice from China (HC).

People that don't know about ecigs are sometimes incredibly ignorant and think they are just as harmful as tobacco... not even close. Tobacco has 4,000 chemicals and 43 of those are carcinogens. eCigs have three chemicals - PG, VG and nicotine.

I'm going to get one of those Kanger Subtanks at some point and rebuild my own atomizers, things have come a long way in the vaping world in the last 3-5 years. I have been on Boge cartos @ about 7W/2.3ohm forever... it hardly creates any vapor though and I am going to double the wattage and half the ohms. Some are "sub-ohming" but on my strength juice that is overkill, I am on 24mg.

I am using the Nautilus sub ohm Atlantis with 16mg oil from the pound shop. It seems stronger than the 30 roll ups I was smoking every day and is a hell of a lot better for me.
I used to grind to a spluttering puffing stop under exertion. Now I grind to a stop when my quads catch fire

There's a shop near me selling juice and I was surprised at how cheap it was, nearly China prices.

Thing is, I don't use flavoured juices (they clog cartos in 3 days whereas unflavoured can last 6 weeks, plus most flavours taste awful anyway) and no UK shops sell unflavoured so I have to order it from China. Those 115ml bottles that are £5.49. :)

That means it costs about £1.45 for a 30ml bottle - in most UK shops that will set you back a tenner at least.

Just a couple of (I'm sure not popular observations) from a non-smoker's perspective. Firstly vaping still stinks and despite the oft-quoted 'produce no or nearly no smoke at all' that's not what it feels like when I've had to stand near people using them. A year or so ago I ran an event with three people habitually using them and frankly it was really off-putting, at least when they were on fags they moved away to have a fag break. Secondly I don't think they're risk-free, some months later I met one of those three back on cigarettes - the vaping had brought him out in serious rashes. Like everything else most people are too polite to say so but I know I'm not the only person who finds vaping pretty foul.

No there are immediate benefits to giving up smoking It all to do with carbon monoxide in the blood. carbon Monoxide will attach its self to the red platelets. thus reducing oxygen take up, Stopping smoking the CO concentration in the blood begins to drop fairly rapidly within a few hours and gains of around 10% in output can be made quite quickly

Should add well done to Tango whisky. Its a hard road. Treat yourself with the money saved.

Well done on giving up tangowhisky. Come Jan 28 2016 I'll have been a non smoker for 4 years.
I lost count of how many previous attempts at quitting I'd made. It's not easy.
The best advice I was given was after throwing that final cigarette was to think of myself as a non smoker, not an ex smoker.
Pride yourself on being a quitter :D
