It seems large compared to the Rockbros of nanoFumpa versions which seem to be better options to replace CO2 cannisters.

I bought a full till kit about 25 years ago, the ones in the cheap black plastic boxes. The chain tool lasted about 2 months, but everything else including the headset spanners, cone spanners and even the tyre levers are still going strong. Not bad, for the 24.99 I paid for it..

I bought 4 pairs of waterproof panniers about 20 years ago , they where used on family tours, I still have 3 good panniers left, lent 1 pair out, not returned, wore a couple out commuting , they were £10 each!

I bought the Lidl panniers at £15 a pair a couple of years ago -- they are my favorite panniers for nipping into town for shopping ( 10 mile round trip ) -- very simple strong metal spring clips for hooking them on and those plastic clips to close the lid and a decent sized zip pocket to hold my phone etc.

The "Parkside 41 Piece Bike Tool Kit" (this: https://www.lidl.co.uk/p/parkside-bike- ... /p10015688) looks extremely odd, I was hoping for a cheap £10 bike-specific tool set...but no (apart from tyre wrenches) it seems to be just a standard bit set with 28 hex bits and 7 sockets plus a couple of handles. Spoke wrench? Nope. Chain breaker? Nope. Any actual bike-specific tools? Nope.

Also advertised as "good when out and about" so presumably you're supposed to carry it in your bike saddle bag tool kit for roadside DIY repairs? But looks like it weighs half a kilo and is the size of a large paperback novel!

Not sure what the person who ordered this was smoking. Maybe they have a lot of DIY bit sets to get rid of and are trying a bit of cheeky rebranding? Or the person ordering it has never actually been on a bicycle?

I also do think Lidls bike stuff has generally gone downhill in quality in recent years, as well as the gradual removal of warranties (used to be 3 years on everything, quibble free, now it's 1 or 3 years quibble-full...if you're lucky).

Not waterproof but do have a built in rain cover in the bottom compartment ( forgot to mention it cos I never use them cos it's only 5 miles to town so they never get soaked enough to matter )

The great thing about them is the ease of putting them on the rack and the strong metal clips used -- one of my Ortlieb bags caught the roll strap on a low branch of a tree recently and snapped the two plastic clips clean off. Had to tie the remaining bracket onto the rack with cable ties ( always keep a half dozen in the bottom of every bag )

Never had any luck with plastic tyre levers --( they usually snap in two ) I have plenty of metal ones that come in the puncture kits.
